A mainstay of downtown St. Petersburg's restaurant scene is planning a major renovation and rebranding to stay relevant as new concepts pop up around the urban core.

After seven years in downtown St. Pete, a major remodel is headed for Cassis. The indoor-outdoor American brasserie will temporarily close its Beach Drive home base starting Sunday after brunch service, and then reopen on Sept. 22 ahead of dinner.
